First thing that probably pops into your mind when you're looking at Pink Katydid is "It's real right?" well yes it is real! 100% real. I found it while searching for pink insects. I knew about these for a good while because I'm a member of Bugguide and I've seen quite a few interesting looking insects on the site and in person, but I've never seen these in person. I hope I will because pink is one of my favorite colors.
Any way as I was searching some more on Bugguide I found out that these types of Katydids also come in red! Can you believe that! Here is the proof. Look above! I don't lie!
