Tracking Honeybees!

So I went to the park again today and I saw 4-5 more honey bees. So that right there altogether is 10. Honestly I saw more in 2 days then I saw last year! Last year I saw only 3 the whole year! 0_0

This makes me very happy and it gives me hope.

Apis mellifera Count Spring 2011:

03-17-11: 4-5
03-18-11: 4-5
Total: 9/10 maybe more?.....

And in Korean:

Apis mellifera 꿀벌 봄 2011:
317 2011: 4-5
318 2011: 4-5
총액: 9/10 또 과연.....?

꿀벌 축하합니다~ 화이팅 으쌰 으쌰! *^^*

hi there again, i LOVE your blog, you sound so enthusiastic. i can never find ANYONE to talk about insects with.... :( you should defo get some caterpillars or cocoons. even if you get like maybe a puss moth brood or something like that. easy. NYC is a good place to rear, theres lots of different food plants available. just look in CP.

Awwww thank you!

I don't have many people I can talk to about insects to either. At least not in depth. Only online. *^^* Glad you like the blog.

I do too. ^______^ I have plans to get Lunas this year as I've found a place that has them. Wish me luck. :P

yes of course. did you looke at my blog? they are really cute and red. :) Have you kept any saturniid before? I started with the chinese oak moths, they're really good, and they eat oak, which is very easy. have fun!

I've never had the pleasure of keeping saturnids before. So I'm hoping this will be the first of many times.

And I will check out your blog in a bit as I'm gonna run out for sec and get some pizza! *^^* And they're tons of oaks here!

Any specific species of oak these feed on?

Oh wow!! I love your blog. I am extremely fascinated with the lives of bees and ants. Such a great respect for them and their well organized societies..
